A Bergen County native, Dr. Natalie Capan grew up in Fort Lee and Norwood. She and her husband, Greg live in Cresskill and are raising three boys. Having attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree then the Harvard School of Dental Medicine for her DMD then finally Columbia University for her Orthodontic degree, Dr. Capan has a strong commitment to advancement of the practice of Orthodontics challenging herself every year to bring the newest innovations and research to the way that she practices.

What to expect at your first visit

We want your first visit to be fun, educational and easy! This visit is complimentary for those who are 18 years old or younger. Why? It is because timing of treatment matters. Often, we will talk about treatment needed in the future and recommend for your child to return for growth guidance visits (which are also complimentary) in order to monitor their growth and development. When the time is right, we’ll recommend getting started. Not only does this assure successful treatment but also shortens the overall time in active treatment. It also makes treatment healthier and more comfortable, which are goals that are always high on our minds.

What happens at this first visit?

We will take records including a digital scan, photos and 2 xrays
Dr. Natalie Capan will discuss her findings and treatment plan carefully with you. It is a good idea for all caregivers to be present at this visit because of value in looking at the records together when explaining what orthodontic issues are present
We’ll go over the costs of treatment. We want to make this easy for you so we have flexible payments plans with no finance charges to be able to pay for your treatment over time. We are also able to determine your insurance coverage if you provide us with your insurance information prior to the visit day!
We may even be able to start measurements for the start of your treatment the same day!
